What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of the GradDipEM will have advanced knowledge and abilities in management, leadership, and professional interaction and skill self-assessment. All students should be able to evaluate the business model, innovation, and sustainability of an engineering workplace through both management and technical lenses; evidence understanding of how teamwork, culture, and leadership impact on workplaces and of strategic management approaches to organising and enhancing a workplace; show understanding of the expectations of their role as a professional engineer in the workplace and in society; demonstrate an understanding of their health and safety responsibilities in an engineering workplace, and apply engineering knowledge and skills in an authentic place of practice (e.g., workplaces, community projects, professional associations).
