What can I expect out of this qualification?
This conjoint degree gives students the opportunity to complete the requirements of two Bachelors degrees over a reduced period of time. Graduates will have knowledge and skills from both arts and engineering disciplines providing a good grounding for careers in many areas. Graduates will have advanced knowledge in at least one Humanities subject together with knowledge in supporting subject(s). They will have appropriate practical engineering skills for their specialisation and be able to apply those skills. They will possess a knowledge of science and mathematics appropriate to a professional engineer, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional and technical context, using appropriate media, with their colleagues and clients. They will also be able to systematically and creatively design systems that provide appropriate practical solutions to engineering problems, including being able to define needs and source appropriate data to service those needs.
