Graduate Diploma of Teaching graduates are independent beginning professionals in either primary or secondary education. They have an in-depth knowledge of teaching and learning processes and a repertoire of teaching and assessment strategies. They will be able to register as teachers in New Zealand through the New Zealand Teachers Council.
