What can I expect out of this qualification?
The Graduate Certificate in Science (GCertSc) is designed for students wanting to transition to a new subject area including students seeking to undertake postgraduate study in a different subject area to their undergraduate qualifications. The GCertSc also supports students intending to enter interdisciplinary postgraduate qualifications, providing an option for students who are qualified in one discipline but require upskilling in another. The GCertSc may be taken without a subject specialisation, or may be endorsed with a specialisation corresponding to a major in the BSc.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
A bachelor s degree of Victoria University of Wellington or, at the discretion of the Wellington Faculty of Science, another university. This requirement may be waived or varied for a candidate who has had extensive practical, professional or scholarly experience that provides an equivalent level of preparation. All candidates must have been accepted by the relevant Head of School or nominee as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.
