Entry requirements
A bachelor's degree of a New Zealand university, preferably in science, engineering, design, commerce or law, achieved with a B+ average grade or higher, or other appropriate background.
About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will have produced a research portfolio that builds on their existing knowledge in science, business, engineering, law, design, or another appropriate discipline. They will be able to contribute to the development and progression of innovations in research-led and commercially orientated organisations by applying their practical experience. They will be highly competent at working with colleagues to synthesise specialist knowledge from their own field with knowledge from other fields. Graduates will be business-ready scientists, designers, or engineers, or science-, design- and engineering-literate entrepreneurs from other disciplines, and will be excellent communicators. They will find employment in advanced-technology enterprises or related fields. Some graduates may continue to doctoral study. From 2016, the Master of Innovation and Commercialisation replaced the Master of Advanced Technology Enterprise (VI00Z3).
