What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will be prepared to teach in total immersion and bilingual learning environments. They will have a good working knowledge of tikanga Māori and be able to teach children to see the world through Māori eyes.
Key Information for Students
Applicants must be a minimum age of 17 years, have a demonstrated interest in the subject and a strong desire to be bilingual. Applicants are to complete a statement about their health and any criminal convictions.Evidence of support from a hapü or iwi is to be provided.
