Entry requirements

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age, have demonstrated interest in the subject and a strong desire to be bilingual. Evidence of support from a hapuu or iwi is to be provided.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates will have the foundation skills as weavers or carvers with basic knowledge of a range of aspects of Maaori art and design, they will have the foundations for a career in arts related fields, especially those involving Maaori art.
