About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this programme is to provide the health and social sector with graduates who have attained advanced knowledge and scholarship through application of research to their professional practice context.
Graduates will have gained additional, knowledge and skills to provide specialty Registered Nurse care for a variety of primary health care settings including Well Child/Tamariki Ora (Plunket nursing), district nursing, public health nursing, practice nursing, aged and residential care setting, Whanau ora, occupational health, youth health.

Registered health professional with NZ practicing certificate, Bachelor degree or equivalent AND relevant clinical employment for a minimum of 2 days (15 hours) per week. (International: IELTS 7.0)
