What can I expect out of this qualification?
The Bachelor of Information Technology prepares graduates for employment, having gained a good grasp of the fundamental principles and theory of Information Technology, a familiarity with information technologies commonly used in organisations, and the ability to learn new skills in a rapidly changing environment. The qualification provides graduates with the academic base required for further study and the ability to pursue a professional career in the Information Technology industry. The capstone project undertaken by students in their third year of study provides them with the practical industry-based experience of working in a team to produce an Information Technology solution.
