What can I expect out of this qualification?
Students in the Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management will have improved knowledge and sound managerial skills relevant to management positions in the tourism, travel, hospitality and airlines industries. The programme is intended to provide the equivalent of a major in a subject other than that in which the student has majored for their first degree.

Minimum requirements
A candidate for admission to this programme of study shall: hold a bachelor's degree (at least equivalent to New Zealand pass standard) awarded by a tertiary institution approved by the Academic Board, or equivalent qualification; and have an English level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (with no band less than 5.5) / TOEFL iBT 60 (with a writing score of 20) / PToE academic score of 50 / AIS Test of English Proficiency (TEP) 52/80 (with no band less than 12); or gain approval under Admission Regulation 3: Special Admission.
