Entry requirements
General entry criteria include: early childhood education experience, appropriate personal and professional characteristics, evidence of commitment to study and academic ability (42 credits NCEA L3 or equivalent achievement of an approved level 3 qualification). What can I expect out of this qualification?
Through successful completion of the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) a graduate is able to meet the NZTC Graduating teacher standards and uphold their professional ethical responsibilities including those arising from Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Graduates are competent to work in a range of early childhood contexts and become registered teachers.
