What can I expect out of this qualification?

The Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours (BMedSc(Hons)) degree is available for medical students who may apply to take this research degree after satisfactorily completing three or more years of the medical degree (MB ChB). Most students elect to take the BMedSc(Hons) year after the third year of the medical degree but a few do so after the fifth year, prior to the trainee intern year.This in-depth study stands graduates in good stead for a future career involving research or academic medicine.
