Entry requirements
Entry is by completion of an undergraduate degree in a related area of study with a B average at 300 level. If students perform well in the Postgraduate Certificate in Parks, Recreation and Tourism, then they will be equipped to continue to study at the Diploma or Masters level.

Graduates of the PG Cert PRT programme will have a sound grounding in the theory and practice of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. They will have knowledge of the broader political, socio-cultural, economic and institutional contexts in which it is conducted to understand the complexity of Parks, Recreation and Tourism issues and practice. They will also have developed skills in critical analysis, evaluation, problem-solving and communication that are relevant to the many fields of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
