What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates of the programme will be able to enter 200-level degree courses at Lincoln University where they meet prerequisite requirements. They will have experience of a tertiary teaching and learning environment in the specialist, land-based context of Lincoln University.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

Three semester pathway - Students who meet domestic or international entry requirements (IELTS 5.5 with at least 5.5 for reading, 5.5 for writing and no section lower than 5.0, or equivalent, and/or completed year 12-13 or equivalent with literacy and numeracy credits) enrol for a three-semester programme of study. Students 20 years of age and over may be admitted to the programme without meeting academic entry requirements if they have relevant work experience and/or other relevant qualifications. Two semester pathway - Students with qualifications close to university entrance (completed year 13 or equivalent with 42 NCEA Level 3 credits, together with literacy and numeracy requirements) enrol for a two-semester programme of study. International students with IELTS 5.5 with no section less than 5.5, or equivalent, may apply to study the two-semester pathway by approval of the divisional director.
