About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates of this programme will develop the skills and capacities to provide in-depth health related knowledge in their area of professional practice, be able to use technologies and online communication and evaluation practices to critically reflect on and document their own practices related to the health needs and requirements of individuals, families/ wh?nau and communities where they work. They will have developed the academic proficiency to engage in scholarly work and build expertise in the field and will be able to provide a health service that is culturally appropriate to the individuals/family/whanau/communities they work with. They will be able to critically analyse literature and develop specialist knowledge in their area of interest. They will also be able to demonstrate mastery of sophisticated theoretical subject matter, research, analyse and argue from evidence, demonstrate the qualities of a reflective practitioner and engage in rigorous intellectual analysis, criticism and problem solving within their specialist field of professional practice.
