About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates with the GradDipMLP will gain an enhanced level of competence and confidence to teach te reo Maori and embed tikanga Maori including Maori pedagogies into their teaching practice. Students will gain deep, specialised knowledge of teaching in Maori medium settings and learn about curriculum and assessment specific to these settings. Tikanga-a-iwi including mana whenua knowledge will be gained through this programme.
