What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will have be able to demonstrate knowledge, matauranga Maori and understanding of the natural processes and anthropogenic impacts that contribute to environmental change. They will be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills related to the concepts, data collection, analysis methods, use and ownership of data and problem solving techniques for Environmental Science. They will have an understanding of frameworks used for environmental decision-making and the cultural, Treaty, ethical, economic and societal factors that impact on decision making and have effective teamwork and communication skills. They will be able to demonstrate an understanding of biculturalism in the context of Environmental Science and will be prepared for employment in the field of Environmental Science within and beyond New Zealand.
