Completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in a relevant major with a minimum GPA or passed 60 points towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Science in a relevant subject with a minimum GPA.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
MBiotech graduates will demonstrate the high level practical and academic skills required to succeed in the diverse fields of biotechnology. Graduates will generate new knowledge to contribute to biotechnology research and development, with an emphasis on areas that underpin New Zealand's economic viability and address emerging global challenges for human and environmental health and wellbeing. On completion of the degree, students will be equipped to apply their skills and understanding to careers in biotechnology in a scientifically informed and ethically-aware manner.
