About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates of the MTchgLn in ECE and PgDipTchgLn in Primary will be equipped as beginning teachers with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to teach diverse learners in New Zealand classrooms and Early Learning Services. They will be critically reflexive practitioners with adaptive expertise expressed through responsive practice for enhanced student learning outcomes. Such graduates will meet the New Zealand Teaching Council Code and Standards and will qualify for provisional registration in New Zealand.
