Entry requirements

* While there are no formal educational prerequisites, a background in water infrastructure, water reticulation supply networks, or engineering is advantageous for maximising comprehension of the content related to water supply systems.
* Although prior experience in water reticulation operations is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. Relevant experience, such as working in roles related to water network installation or maintenance, or operational roles in related industries, will be beneficial for understanding the practical components of this micro-credential. It is designed to provide essential foundational knowledge suitable for both new entrants to the industry and existing professionals looking to upskill.
* There is no minimum English language requirement for entry; however, learners are expected to possess a level of English proficiency that enables effective engagement with micro-credential materials and participation in theoretical discussions and practical activities.
* Learners must have access to a Water Supply System for the practical learning and assessment components of the micro-credential. Access to a Water Supply System is essential for conducting and showing an understanding of disinfection techniques during their employment and completing the required practical assessments. This access will also support learners in compiling a portfolio of evidence, which includes documenting completed tasks, operational practices, and the outcomes of their work-based observations.
