About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this micro-credential is to equip Christian leaders with a robust biblical and theological framework for applying leadership principles so that they make a positive impact both in church/faith-based contexts and in the wider society within Aotearoa New Zealand. Importantly, it is primarily focused on ensuring leaders have a sound biblical basis for understanding the role of leadership and for evaluating their leadership practices.

In addition to providing leaders with a strong theoretical biblical framework, this course will provide them with a set of leadership tools that can immediately inform their leadership practices within their contexts. This will enable a wide range of Christian leaders to gain formal leadership skills and competencies, ensuring effective and safe operation of faith-based community organisations and initiatives, benefitting the wider communities they serve.
