About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with skilled individuals who are prepared to work in entry-level cloud computing roles involving security. This micro-credential will equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to support the safe adoption of cloud computing in a variety of business contexts. Graduates will be able to apply the fundamentals of cloud security and contribute to addressing the shortage of entry-level cloud computing professionals and security professionals required by the industry.
Graduates of this micro-credential will be able to contribute to society by ensuring cloud environments are secure for New Zealand organisations, supporting technology proficiency and capability in a range of business environments, promoting economic development in local and regional communities throughout New Zealand.
This micro-credential is aimed at school leavers, career changers, and up-skillers already in the business sector who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in cloud computing and cloud security to meet the demand for entry-level cloud computing security professionals.
