What can I expect out of this qualification?

The Graduate Diploma in Nursing Pacific is to provide an opportunity for learners to demonstrate their ability to

meet the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) Registered Nurse competencies and practice

within the Aotearoa New Zealand context. Graduates will be eligible to apply to the Nursing

Council of New Zealand for registration and a practicing certificate to work in Aotearoa New

Zealand as a nurse

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

A Diploma of Nursing (L5) or Bachelor of Nursing (L7) from a Pacific Island nation AND A minimum of 2 years full-time equivalent work experience as a registered nurse in their home country and a minimum of two years work experience in the health sector in Aotearoa New Zealand. Evidence of suitability based on interview, health screening, safety check and referee reports.
