Open entry. Learners will enrol with Te Rau Matatau which is the education division of Te Rau Ora and will be required to comply with all Te Rau Matatau enrolment policies and procedures.
About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of this micro-credential is to provide an opportunity for whānau, hapu, iwi and stakeholders interested in understanding kaupapa Māori health to:
- Strengthen own knowledge and skills with regards to Māori health disparities, inequities, social determinants and institutional racism.
- Identify features of successful strategies and solutions that align with a kaupapa Māori approach, focus on improving Māori health equities and can be used to build organisational capacity.
