Entry requirements

Learners will be eligible to enter this micro-credential if they:
- Are at least 16 years old, and
- Have basic computer skills and an interest in business
- Hold NCEA Level 2 or equivalent evidence that they have the ability to succeed in the micro-credential

-Students with English as a second language require IELTS 5.5 (General or Academic) with no band lower than 5.0.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The aim of this micro-credential is to produce individuals who can rigorously investigate a business idea,
exploring its purpose, demand, value proposition and viability before significant investment of capital or
resource is undertaken, and who can design and demonstrate a business pitch.
