What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with facilitators who can plan and facilitate transition to parenting education in culturally appropriate and diverse settings.
Graduates will work independently and in partnership with individuals, family and whānau to support optimal personal health and wellbeing and contribute to positive community health and social outcomes.
Graduates will be able to contribute to building a strong and equitable public health system by working within a framework of practice that is informed primarily by Te Tiriti o Waitangi and sector priorities.
