About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the wool industry with individuals who have skills and knowledge to shear sheep safely and ensure product quality is maintained and meets the expectations of the market.

The qualification is stranded for specialisation in strong wool or fine and mid micron wool sheep to recognise the specific skills and knowledge required by shearers for the wool industry.

Graduates will be capable of working under limited supervision.
