What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the crane industry with individuals who may be employed for a range of tasks at a variety of worksites where cranes are operating.
The qualification is stranded to recognise the differing requirements of the specialist areas.
The crane industry, and the building and construction industry in particular, will benefit from having people who can work safely with and around cranes through structured, recognised, and consistent training programmes.
Graduates will be capable of working with limited supervision.
