What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification will provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to operate under direct supervision in support roles within and/or across the sport, recreation and exercise industries.
Graduates will be able to operate within a framework of health and wellness in relation to individuals, groups and community needs.
Graduates can apply their skills within the sport, recreation and exercise industries to contribute to the cultural, social and economic wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
All applicants must show evidence of a level of literacy and numeracy sufficient to ? be able to study at this level, and ? interpret and apply health and safety requirements. All applicants will be required to complete a Police Vetting Service Request and Consent form. English language requirements: Applicant must demonstrate a level of English language fluency prior to acceptance on the programme: ? Successful study of a programme in which English was the language of instruction ? completion of a New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Level 3 with any endorsement). ? IELTS Academic score of 5, with no band score lower than 5, achieved in a single test within the two years preceding enrolment ? accepted international equivalents
