What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand workplaces with people who have the foundation health and safety skills, knowledge, and attributes to participate in workplace health and safety.
Graduates will have general skills and knowledge of the health and safety requirements and responsibilities and how these are associated with a workplace.
Graduates will be able to apply these skills under limited supervision.
This qualification is intended for people who are intending to work, or working within a New Zealand workplace.

Learners must be over the age of 18 to enrol into the programme. If a learner is not a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, they must provide: a) A copy of their passport and visa b) Evidence of English language proficiency
