Applicants must be 18 years or over and have NCEA 3 or 42 credits at level 3 with 14 credits in each of three subjects on the approved list and 10 credits at level 2 in reading and writing (in English or Maori) and a minimum of 10 credits at level 1 in numeracy OR equivalent.
International applicants who have not undertaken secondary education in New Zealand must provide evidence of English language proficiency. The result must be from one test taken in the previous two years. A number of testing options are approved.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The Bachelor of Applied Arts aims to create people-centered who are well-informed in their chosen specialisation: Film Production or Digital Media Production. Graduates will appeal to employers that require flexible problem solvers who can lead, manage and collaborate to create sustainable, financially viable and profitable outcomes, whilst considering the wider community and social needs. By integrating personal development (using humanities subjects), learners will be equipped with emotional intelligence that improves the application of vocational skills within their profession.
