The qualification is designed to provide the beauty sector with people who have the skills and knowledge to manufacture and fit performance prosthetics and create performance makeup and special effects.
This qualification is intended for learners who wish to develop skills and knowledge towards becoming performance makeup artists or performance prosthetics technicians. It is also suitable for those who are already employed in the performance makeup and prosthetics industry and wish to gain a credential for their experience.
Graduates will be capable of working under broad guidance with a degree of self-management within the performance makeup and prosthetics contexts.
