What can I expect out of this qualification?
The qualification is designed to provide the beauty sector with therapists who have the skills and knowledge to critically analyse clients' needs and provide advanced beauty services.
This qualification is intended for learners who have prior learning or experience as a beauty therapist to equip them with the skills and knowledge to successfully provide advanced beauty services and manage the operations of a client base or small beauty therapy business.
The beauty sector will benefit by having beauty therapists with the skills and knowledge to successfully provide advanced beauty services.
Graduates will be capable of working autonomously.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
The New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy (Level 4) [Ref: 3444], or equivalent skills and knowledge, experience, and/or qualification(s), with evidence of the ability to successfully complete this programme. All applicants must have a level of English sufficient to be able to study at this level. Those applicants whose first language is not English would have IELTS overall Academic score of at least 5.5 issued within the last 2 years with no less than 5 in any band or equivalent.
