What can I expect out of this qualification?

The aim of this programme is to enable graduates to be musically and academically competent practitioners who are able to apply the skills, knowledge and attributes necessary for successful participation in global music and creative industries.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

Application by Academic Qualification (Under 20 years of age) University Entrance - NCEA Level 3 Preference will be given to applicants with Merit or Excellence passes in Physics, Mathematics, and Music. Special Admission Application by Mature Entry (20 years of age and above) Consideration will be given to applicants aged 20 years or older who do not meet the entry criteria if they can demonstrate a history of work, industry experience which in the opinion of the Programme Managers exhibits a likelihood of success in the programme of study. Consideration will be given to students who progress through other TPP/MAINZ/SIT programme pathways (e.g. Foundation Sound and Music). Applicants may be required to attend an interview or provide a portfolio of audio related work.
