About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the real estate industry with people who hold a broad operational and technical knowledge of the real estate industry.
Graduates of this qualification will have met the qualification requirements to be a licensed salesperson in New Zealand and, once licensed, will be able to operate under supervision to comply with the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (as per Section 50).

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
This is an entry-level qualification. To enter this programme an individual must be involved in the real estate industry in a role that allows them to achieve the graduate profile outcomes of the qualification. However, to meet the real estate licensing regime an individual is not permitted to be in a role involving the sale of real estate until successful completion of this programme and fulfilling other licensing requirements. Individuals may be employees or self-employed contractors working under an arrangement in the nature of employment. Ignite may enrol trainees working in New Zealand under work visas into this programme without being a signatory to The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021, until 31 December 2023.
