What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is for people with a sound knowledge of te reo and tikanga (plural) who wish to analyse cultural, linguistic, and value-driven concepts within a specified range of contexts.

Graduates will be able to demonstrate a broad understanding and knowledge of te reo and tikanga and able to lead and facilitate activities with cultural awareness, communication, and collaboration.

Open to applications 18 years of age or over, with a commitment to engagement at whanau/hapu/tribal level within Nai Tuhoe; willingness to commit to study; keenness to develop their own skills and abilities and to succeed in their studies; commitment to full-year, full-time study; available for haerenga and hapu/tribal activities.
