What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification provides the collision repair and automotive refinishing industry with individuals who have attained the fundamental knowledge and skills required to work as removers/refitters of vehicle components, and/or refinishing preparers.
The qualification is designed for people who are beginning a career in the industry.
Graduates will be able to work under limited supervision.

Minimum requirements
Academic Requirements: this programme has open entry. English Language requirements apply. Additional Requirements: must be physically able to undertake the practical components of the programme. English Requirements: If English is not the applicant s first language, applicants will need to provide a result from a test or qualification on the acceptable alternatives English Proficiency Outcomes Chart. Applicants who do not have evidence of English language skills and are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, may contact Ara for an assessment IELTS 5.0 Academic (no lower than 5.0 in any subtest).
