What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the leather processing sector with competent employees, who are able to work as technical specialists in management roles, in a leather processing operation.

The aim of this qualification is to establish standards of competent performance for advanced leather processing operations that can provide domestic and international markets with confidence in a quality range of leather products.

Graduates will be capable of working in a self-directed capacity.
