About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with people who will be able to assess small business opportunities.
They will be able to explore and assess opportunities and understand requirements for establishing a small business, in accordance with ngā kaupapa o te Tiriti o Waitangi (the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi), and in a multi-cultural environment.

Minimum requirements
All applicants: Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and graduate of an NZQA Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or demonstrate numeracy and literacy competence upon completing a require numeracy and literacy exercise prior to enrolment , and be fully committed to completing the programme . All applicants must attend either (or both) an information session or enrolment interview.
