Entry requirements
In order to meet all of the outcomes of the graduate profile, a programme of study leading to the award of this qualification can only be offered through the holder of an air traffic service organisation certificate issued under CAA Part 172, where the certificate authorises the holder to conduct that training; or the holder of an aviation training organisation certificate issued under CAA Part 141, where the certificate authorises the holder to conduct that training.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the air traffic services sector with individuals who have the theoretical knowledge to be working towards gaining a trainee licence under International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Air Traffic Service requirements. The qualification is designed to meet the global training and education needs of both domestic and international trainees.
The qualification includes theoretical knowledge and skills in keeping with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulatory requirements for air traffic services.
