The Introduction to Small Drinking-Water Supplies and Applying Principles of a Water Safety Plan micro-credential is designed for learners at an introductory level under supervision.
This micro-credential is intended for vocational education with learners either employed or, in the case of Marae Small Drinking-Water systems, actively participating in the provision of small drinking-water.
The Micro-credential covers the variety of small drinking-water systems in New Zealand including:
* their strengths and weakness,
* available solutions and improvements,
* current legislation, requirements and regulations, and
* integral components of a Small Drinking-Water Safety plan.
This micro-credential addresses a significant skill gap in the rural water sector provision.
