What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the electrotechnology industry with commercially competent people who can design, manufacture, test, service, and install electrical switchgear and associated equipment safely.
Graduates will be able to operate independently and will have some responsibility for the performance of others.
Graduates of the optional strand will additionally be eligible to apply to the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) to become a registered and licensed electrical installer.
