About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The graduates of this diploma will be able to critically evaluate the IT capabilities of the organization and provide vision and strategies to accommodate changing technologies to gain competitive advantage. Specifically, graduates will have knowledge of the role and applications of information technology within business organisations; business information systems development techniques; business processes; and business analysis. They will also have a solid understanding of business processes and decision making and project management. In addition, graduates will demonstrate quantitative business problems solving skills; learn and apply emerging technologies to improve business productivity; and communicate at a professional level and work effectively in a team environment. Graduates will also be eligible for cross-credits of a maximum of 195 points into AUT's Bachelor of Computing and Information Systems.
